Little League World Series Tea Cosy

It's time for a sport tea cosy design sketch of a Little League World Series Tea Cosy.

As someone who’s more knitty than sporty, I’ve taken plenty of advice from the lovely person who requested this Little League World Series Tea Cosy to ensure it captures all the key details that make it instantly recognizable.

The design features a young player at bat, poised for the ball’s delivery, with his bat raised in striking position, ready for a home run moment.

I’ve kept the team attire simple, so knitters can easily customize the colours to match their favourite team. The helmet; a signature part of Little League, is front and centre, ensuring safety first while allowing for personalized colour choices to match a real-life player or personal preference.

To emphasize the youthful spirit of the design, I’ll slightly exaggerate the size of the bat, making the child look smaller and giving the cosy a playful proportion against a standard-sized teapot.

This is a fun, fresh challenge; something a little different and I’m learning things I didn’t know along the way! The trickiest part? Definitely the helmet, with all its shaping and stick-out bits, but I’ll get it figured out.
