The Candy Wonderland Tea Cosy is a playful, fantasy inspired knitting design shaped by childhood sweeties, colourful candy and the idea of a dreamlike world where every tree and landmark is made from your favourite treats. This cosy brings together nostalgia, bright colours and imaginative details to create a magical landscape wrapped around your teapot.

The main body of the cosy forms a soft, green, hill covered landscape, knitted in bubble stitch to give those rounded, dreamy slopes. At the base sits a swirl of creamy colour, almost like a wave curling onto a sugary shoreline. Around the centre, an undulating band of chocolate adds depth and movement to the landscape, while the top features a standing chocolate block rising like a tall tower.

Swirly lollipops act as candy trees, dotted among Maltesers, Smarties and a scattering of Liquorice Allsorts, especially the pink round ones everyone loves. Wandering through this sweet themed world is a cheerful jelly baby, perfectly at home in this make believe candy kingdom.

The design is wonderfully imaginative and full of nostalgic charm, celebrating the sweets and treats we grew up with. The only technical challenges will be shaping the wavy chocolate band and supporting the upright elements, the chocolate tower and lollipop trees, where trusty bamboo skewers will come to the rescue once again.
