TeaCosyFolk Knitting Vlog for October 2025

Welcome to the October knitting vlog with Suzy Cowper of TeaCosyFolk and Happy Halloween to all our knitters and yarn witches! This month’s vlog is bursting with seasonal treats, spooky stitches, and playful projects. I’ll be chatting about chocolate orange cosies, tissue box covers, tea cosies galore and showing off a creepy sweet box that’s sure to give trick-or-treaters a fright!

Join Suzy Cowper of TeaCosyFolk for the October knitting vlog, packed with seasonal inspiration and Halloween-themed knitting patterns.

The Pumpkin and Witches Hat Chocolate Orange Cover is one of the featured designs in the 2025 TeaCosyFolk Calendar. You can order yours for UK delivery here...
Or for our international woolly wanderers, head to Etsy.

The Pumpkin Reaper Tea Cosy will be haunting the website from the 23rd of October. Keep an eye on your inbox for the newsletter announcing its arrival

The Cake Tissue Box Cover pattern will be landing on the website on the 30th of October. You can read more about it on the blog.

The March Lamb Chocolate Orange Cosy is one of this year’s calendar designs and it will be prancing onto the website on the 16th of October. He’s a lovely little woolly fellow!

Looking ahead to 2026? Read all about the Chocolate Orange Cosy Subscription starting January 1st 2026 and sign up here.

I’m currently working on the Knackered Reindeer Tea Cosy knitting pattern, but you can already read the blog post and watch a little sketch video.

This month’s knitting tip is all about drawing up edges; whether you’re using the T&D (thread and draw) technique or sewing a row of running stitches along a cast-on edge. The goal? Avoid that drawn-up bag with a standing raunch look! For more tips, visit the Knitting Tips Page
Or explore The Cosy Companion Guidebook.

Following The Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed play set, The Five Little Speckled Frogs Play Set Knitting Pattern will hop onto the website on the 13th of November. Don’t miss the release; join the newsletter here.

And finally, fly me to the moon and knit yourself a Lunar Landing Cowl with this fun cable pattern. I used Stylecraft Special DK in Wild Orchid; just 33g, so you can knit three from a single 100g ball!
