TeaCosyFolk Knitting Vlog for January 2026

Welcome to my January vlog; a cheerful round up of everything bubbling away at TeaCosyFolk as we step into a brand new year. This first cosy catch up takes you through new launches, monthly knit alongs, foodie favourites, and behind the scenes peeks at upcoming designs. Grab a cuppa, settle in and enjoy what’s new on the needles.

Pour a cuppa and enjoy this month’s cosy round‑up of fresh patterns with Suzy Cowper as she shows you tasty knits and upcoming TeaCosyFolk creations.

The Chocolate Orange Cosy Subscription began on the 1st of January, but if you sign up now you’ll still be able to download the first knitting pattern, which is the Giraffe in a Scarf Chocolate Orange Cosy.
If you’d like to join in the monthly knit‑along you can find out more about it here. Sign‑ups for the subscription close on the 31st of January.

The Titanic Tea Cosy knitting pattern will be launching on the website on the 22nd of January.

The help video for the Cheeseburger Tea Cosy is here.

Catch up with more designs that have been published in magazines here... This is where the new tea cosy designs for Simply Knitting will appear, so keep an eye out.

The Pancake Day Lady Tea Cosy will hopefully flip onto the website on the 29th of January — well ahead of Shrove Tuesday, which falls on the 17th of February this year. Find out more about my inspiration for this tea cosy on the TeaCosyFolk Blog.

More details about the Fly Me to the Moon Hot Water Bottle Cover will be coming shortly on the TeaCosyFolk Blog.

The yarn I’ll be using for the space‑inspired cover will be Stylecraft Special Aran in either Denim or Empire — I haven’t decided yet, they both look so good.

Thank you for watching, and Happy New Year!
