Sugar Lump Ant Tea Cosy

The Sugar Lump Ant is a cheerful little character, walking upright just like we do. He’s based on the humble ant; usually overlooked but here he’s transformed into a teatime darling. It’s the kind of cosy that makes people do a double-take and then grin.

Naturally, his favourite treat is sugar, and he’s found plenty of it on the table. You can see him busily gathering sugar lumps and stacking them neatly so he can carry a few at a time. His tiny two-digit hands and sturdy boots give him a determined look, as if he’s mid-mission, stacking sugar cubes like a warehouse pro.

His body is knitted in Stylecraft Special DK Dandelion, which gives him a bright and sunny feel. It’s funny how we usually try to keep ants away, but this one is so sweet he might just crawl straight into your heart.
