Description

The May Day Magic tea cosy was designed for the Simply Knitting Magazine issue 198 which went on sale on the 23rd April 2020.

My inspiration for this tea cosy came from May Day, May poles and old fashioned garden type festivals. So I gave the central point of the tea cosy a fenial which is a bit like the top of a maypole and all around are the maypole's ribbons coming down to stylised looking dancers.

There are little flowers all about because Spring and May is all about watching the Spring flowers bursting into bloom.

It's such a cheerful tea cosy that is fun to make and brilliant for stash busting. Enjoy May Day every day with this tea cosy.

Spring time fun times with the May Day Tea Cosy.
