Animated Tea Cosy

Description

Who doesn't love a dragon, what a wonderful mythical creature to turn into a tea cosy and a Welsh dragon to boot!

This tea cosy was inspired by the Red Dragon of Cadwaladr a national symbol of Wales. The dragon has one paw raised as the red dragon does on the flag.

The dragon tea cosy has both forelegs but because the dragon is in a more upright position, it doesn't have back legs. It had a long tail with a spikey ridge that goes up to the head.

The wings on the back stand upright, and it has upstanding ears.

I designed the dragon to be a Welsh Dragon, but it could be made in other colors to make it look like a fairytale dragon or even an old dragon.

The cosy is made from Stylecraft Special DK and is a fabulous project to make and enjoy.

Bore da! Do you fancy a nice cup of tea with a Dragon?
