Description

Puffer fish are those funny little fish that blow themselves up and get all spikey when they feel threatened, and this little puffer is a ball of spines.

This is a great tea cosy to knit because the pufferfish is so cute. There is some knitted structural support inside the tea cosy to stop the teapot lid causing a lump in the top of the blowfish's back.

All of the spikes, fins, tail and head are knitted separately and sewn on after. The eyes are lovely big 30mm gold sparkly safety eyes and they really crank up the cuteness factor.

He's a lovely tea cosy for anyone who loves fish or is interested in marine wildlife. It's a super unusual tea cosy that is quirky and friendly.

For people who feel prickly until they've had a refreshing cup of tea.

This Tea Cosy:

  • is made from double thickness yarn for extra insulation
  • fits a medium sized teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints
