You may have heard of National Tea Cosy Day, but not what it’s all about or how much fun it is to take part.

What is National Tea Cosy Day?


National Tea Cosy Day is a yearly celebration dedicated to the craft, creativity and comfort that tea cosies bring to everyday life. It’s a day for knitters, tea lovers and cosy collectors to come together and enjoy the charm of this very British tradition of taking afternoon tea.

National Tea Cosy Day takes place every year on the 23rd of May. It falls in late spring, a perfect time to celebrate creativity and colour, with weather warm enough to enjoy the occasion alfresco.
