Description

When I think of Japanese gardens I think of Japanese pagodas; either as small lantern like ornaments, and in grand gardens you might find a Japanese pagoda structure. I love them, they are bright, cheerful and look exotic.

I thought a Japanese pagoda would make an amazing tea cosy that would be perfect for teatimes in the garden. It would turn your garden into a little Japanese garden filled with calming tea and serenity.

The main part of the tea cosy is the bottom floor of the Japanese pagoda. Then the subsequent floors are knitted and sewn on individually. The walls and roofs are knitted in one to avoid additional sewing up.

The windows, door, pillars and finial are then all knitted and sewn on to create this lovely and unique tea cosy.

Perfect for taking tea in a Japanese garden.
