Description

Welcome to the crazy Easter Egg factory where all organic chocolate Easter eggs are made, let me take you on a tour of the factory.

At the front you can see the magical chocolate egg-laying chicken, she is at the heart of the operation. She sits on the hopper and lays her delicious eggs. The eggs roll along the blue tube to the first conveyer belt, then the first robotic arm picks them up, one by one, and drops them into the painting cubical to be spray painted with edible paint.

They come out of the painting booth onto the second conveyer belt, where another robotic arm selects a pretty bow and attaches it to the front of the egg. The egg, then complete, falls off the conveyer belt into an Easter basket to be collected by the factory supervisor or the Easter bunny.

The Easter Egg Factory tea cosy is playful and bonkers and full of steampunk magic. I wanted to create an Easter tea cosy that was a bit different to the usual tea cosies, and I have always loved films about how things are made.

When you buy the Easter Egg Factory knitting pattern, you will also receive the instructions of how to knit the Look at the Egg that Marmalade Chocolate Orange Knitting Pattern as well. This chocolate orange cosy incorporates the factory chicken to sit on top of an orange-looking chocolate orange, with a label with a joke on it. The pattern includes the print out for the joke.

Please be aware that if you are buying the ready knitted Easter Egg Factory tea cosy, that this does not include the ready knitted Look at the Egg that Marmalade Chocolate Orange cosy.

With Easter on the way there's no time for tea breaks at the Easter Egg Factory!
