Description

This tea cosy is a Halloween horror depicting one of Sweeney Todd's meat pies. Don't ask what kind of meat pie it is, it probably tastes like chicken with one or two surprise morsels thrown in.

The pie is based on an old style pie that is usually seen these days for pork pies. The top of the pie looks crimped and makes a nice wavy edge to the top.

The top of the pie is garnished with a sprig of parsley, to give an appetising appeal. Whilst rolling around at the bottom of the pie are a couple of eyeballs and if you look there's a green finger or thumb poking out from the pie. Round the back of the pie there is some blood looking gravy oozing out from the pie, it's gruesomely grim.

This ghoulish tea cosy fits a small sized teapot that holds tea for one person. It's a brilliant tea cosy for Halloween and it's a little bit out of the ordinary. It's fun to knit and a giggle to serve someone with their tea.

Tasty pies for Halloween - feeling hungry?
