Terms and Conditions of Sale
Here are our terms and conditions of sale.
- General Terms
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
- Quoted Sizes
All sizes and measurements quoted on our website and in literature are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.
- Returns Policy
Refunds on returns are subject to goods being returned in saleable condition or in the event of faulty goods – subject to inspection and agreement of Tea Cosy Folk. All returns must be accompanied with a returns reference number which we will provide you with.
- Pricing
Our pricing reflects the work that has gone into creating our hand made tea cosies most of which take between six and ten hours to produce depending on the intricacy of the pattern. All patterns are designed and owned by us and whilst they are collectable, they also make beatiful gifts. No machinary is involved in the production of our tea cosies. The prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT.
- Post and Packing Cost
Our standard rate for postage and packing is £1.75.
- Payment
Payments by credit card will show as 'Tea Cosy Folk' on your credit card statement.
- Order Acceptance
We may refuse to accept an order:
(a) Where goods are not available;
(b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) If there has been a pricing or product description error.
- Title of Goods
Title to any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
- Delivery
Delivery can only be made to mainland UK addresses. Unfortunately at this time we cannot take orders for delivery to International, Republic of Ireland, BFPO, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man or the Scilly Isles addresses. We reserve the right to change the areas to which we deliver without notice.
We aim to deliver your goods within 3-5 working days of the order being received on our website. Working days are defined as Monday to Friday inclusive and exclude Saturday, Sunday and all bank holidays.
Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
- Use of Cookies
We do not use cookies on our website.

- Statutory Rights
