Description

The Harrogate Chocolate Orange Cosy was designed for the Harrogate Knitting and Stitching show to knit as workshop project. It's a lovely little cosy that showcases lots of fancy knitting stitches and techniques that can be found in TeaCosyFolk knitting patterns.

Because this pattern contains so many of the fancier knitting techniques, it's a very decorative cosy and it can be a challenge to knit. For each of the trickier parts of the project, there is a Youtube help video. A link and QR code to each video can be found on the knitting pattern.

I suppose you would describe this cosy as a sampler cosy, a bit like sampler projects that the Victorians made to showcase their skills.

The Harrogate Chocolate Orange cosy fits a Terry's Chocolate Orange and can be made from small amounts of yarn from your stash, making a great stash buster.

The cosy takes about 2 hours to knit and can be decorated with bells or charms at the top.

Practise your knitting skills and brush up new techniques.
